KUNWU® Orthopedic Surgical Robot

The flagship KUNWU® system is described by Yuanhua as a “five-in-one” orthopedic surgical robot, integrating total knee arthroplasty (TKA), total hip arthroplasty (THA), unicompartmental knee arthroplasty (UKA), spine surgery, and trauma surgery on a single platform. The system received NMPA Innovative Medical Device designation through the “Green Path” special approval process in November 2021.

NMPA approval milestones include: TKA (April 2022), THA (March 2023), UKA (July 2024), and Spine/Trauma indications (2025). The robot has been deployed in over 100 hospitals across China, completing more than 5,000 clinical procedures at institutions including PLA General Hospital, West China Hospital, and Prince of Wales Hospital in Hong Kong.

Wireless Capsule Endoscopy System

Developed by subsidiary Milvus Technologies, the capsule endoscopy platform includes both active (robotic-controlled) and passive wireless systems for non-invasive gastrointestinal examination. The system features proprietary AI-assisted diagnostic software for automated image analysis.

NOTES and Interventional Robots

The company is developing specialized natural orifice transluminal endoscopic surgery robots and intelligent puncture/intervention robots through its Milvus Technologies subsidiary.
